» Themes Technology and learning This section looks at the ways technologies are increasingly being used as part of courses, and explores people’s opinions of the technologies, and their feelings about their integration in many courses. Attitudes to Technology looks at what people think about new technologies, and how their feelings affect whether they will start to use those technologies. Importance of IT to people examines how important IT skills are to them, and the reasons behind their views. IT courses looks at people's motivations for going on courses, their experiences, and factors that can stop them going on IT courses, or encourage them. Different technologies and their use in learning looks at research in Hull examining people's views towards technologies in learning, and at possibilities for technology in learning in the future. Online Learning looks at what people in Hull make of online learning, and the reasons why they would or wouldn't enrol on an online course. Residents.net looks at the model of learning used by this project, and why it was successful. Is IT a hook into learning? looks at whether IT use in learning makes people more likely to want to get involved. |
