What kind of education do young people need?  (2004)

This paper aims to broaden the debate about education beyond the characterised discussions about raising standards, the needs of business and whether young people are 'employable'.  This paper looks back at the history of education in the UK to contextualise our current system and ask 'what kind of an education do young people need in today's society?'
