Rhema Youth Works Schools Project- Experiences from the Pilot Year (2006)

Rhema Youth Works is a voluntary sector organisation working with ‘disaffected’ young people aged 13-19 and offering one to one support, drop-in evenings, events and learning activities.  In 2004 they started a project taking young people at risk of being excluded out of school two days a week, and using a mix of ASDAN and eDDC as an alternative curriculum.  The report is based on the young people's daily evaluation sheets, and the debriefs the staff carried out at the end of each day.  It draws out the key factors that made the project successful.
