Getting IT right- Views on IT courses in Hull (2006)

This report presents the findings of a questionnaire regarding IT courses in Hull.  The bulk of the data relates to learners' experiences of IT courses in Hull, and their opinions of what is good about them, and what could be improved. The research also explores their motivations for going on an IT course.  Additionally, the research looks at the views of those who haven’t been on such courses, drawing out potential ways to widen participation in IT courses.  A discussion of the importance of IT skills, and people's opinions on this provide the context for these findings.
