About Us

Volcom is a social enterprise, part of the voluntary sector and a company limited by guarantee. We are the research and development lab for learning in Hull. Our purpose is to influence how learning provision is delivered so that it responds to what people need and want.

We work with voluntary and community groups and school communities in Hull to ensure that our projects meet the diverse needs of people across the city.

To achieve this we have carried out several different kinds of work since we began in 2000, including being involved in bid writing for SRB6 and delivering projects funded by the LSC and ERDF.
