Hull Community Church is a charity committed to making a difference in the local community, by providing support, friendship and long-term practical help to local people. Thanks to funding over the next five years from the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, they are extending their 'Lifezone Family Project' to reach more families and provide additional activities in the community. This will take place from Hull Community Church on Newland Avenue and in early 2016, from a new family centre adjacent to the church. This new centre, the "World of Wonder", has been designed by the children and is supported by the Big Lottery Fund. The aim of the project is to help children and families live fuller and happier lives, through creating an extended family that supports one another.
