Jobcentre Plus wants to work together with partners to improve the job prospects for young people aged 18 to 24 who are facing the most complex obstacles to employment. This will focus on:
They are inviting applications for grant funding to not for profit organisations to support activities which address the above objectives. Grant applications are invited for initiatives up to the value of £25,000.
COOLture 2013COOLture is Hull's annual children and young people's celebration of multi-cultural music, dance and dress. It takes place as part of the Lord Mayor's Carnival – so you can watch the parade in Queen's Gardens and around the city centre from 1pm, and then enjoy the COOLture celebration afterwards!
