The Echoes Foundation will be putting on a 5-a-Side Charity Football Tournament on Sunday the 21st of September. It will also be a fun family day with a child bouncy castle and an adult bouncy castle game for adults to compete against each other in teams. They will also be doing a children’s football competition!
Echoes is looking for three fun loving volunteers to collect money and watch over the two bouncy castles and the child Football competition on Sunday September 21st from 11-3 if you can’t do the whole time, but can even donate an hour of your time please get in touch!

Marie Curieare looking for volunteers in East Yorkshire to increase the profile of Marie Curie and to help fund vital extra hours of Marie Curie Nursing care to terminally ill people and their families who want to spend their last few days in the comfort of their own homes.
You will be organising street and supermarket collections for Christmas and the Great Daffodil Appeal in March, delivering and banking the money from collection tins and daffodil boxes in local businesses, organising Blooming Great Tea Parties and there are many more exciting ventures for to go on.
UK Older People’s Dayis held on 1st October each year to coincide with the UN International Day of Older Persons.
The main aim of this day is to be a celebration of the achievements and contributions that older people make to our society and the economy.
Older People’s Day helps to support the campaign to challenge negative attitudes and outdated stereotypes. Across the country organisations and individuals are using this initiative to make a difference and in Hull, for the second year running, the Older
People’s Partnership Group will be hosting a week-long celebration. In less than three years’ time the eyes of the nation will be on Hull City of Culture 2017 and we are joining the countdown.

£15,000 - £16,000 depending on experience, fixed on appointment
The Goodwin Centre requires an experienced, professional and flexible Cook to lead a small catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Goodwin Community Cafe, delivering an excellent food service to customers, as well as provide buffets as required at our Octagon Conference and Meeting venue.
